Cheap wipers work great but should be regularly replaced. It is important that the rubber blades be in constant contact with the glass windshield. It may be possible, or even necessary to flex (bend) the wiper arms to maintain constant contact ( no streaking or skipping).<br /><br />Does your windshield washer work? Make sure its full of fluid (not just water!). Make sure the pump works (good pump and fuse) and that the nozzles are clean. If the nozzles are stopped up, they can often be cleared by blowing compressed air through them. Be sure to disconnect the supply hoses from the underside of the nozzles first! Then close the hood and blow compressed air through the nozzles. If this doesn't clean them out, you'll have to buy new ones. Don't worry, they snap in and are not very expensive.
